It is currently the most popular address in London, although many companies have tried to buy it.  It is said that the company has no interest in selling it.

At present, the Sherlock Holmes Museum owns the address number 221 B in Baker Street and all letters received at the relevant address are directed to the museum.  It is also special that Sherlock Holmes's room is set up as it was described in the Sherlock Holmes museum.  There are also 17 steps arranged in the same way as the descriptions of the novels.  Today, Sherlock's absence in the room is filled by a wax statue of Sherlock.  Also, at the entrance, there is a sign saying 'Expert Detective Sherlock Holmes, 1881-1904' so that Sherlock fans from all over the world can easily identify the house of the great detective.
