Who is this Kraken
Who is this Kraken?
According to mythology, the Kraken is a legendary sea monster of enormous size that appears off the coast of Norway... The word Kraken is broken from the Norwegian word krakjen. Finnur Jonsson claimed that the kraken symbolized an anchor. However, the kraken, which is a superstition and myth of sailors, was first described in the modern era in the early 18th century (1700s) by Francesco Negri in his travel log. The same description was described in more detail in 1734 by the explorer Hans Egrad.
So the legend of this creature called Kraken started after sailors saw giant squids. So the size of the squids they saw were said to be as big as 13-15 meters (40-50 feet). After all those details, many people believed that Kraken is a huge ship. Egede had described that it was a huge giant octopus twenty or thirty times bigger than the kraken. Anyway, Egede had described that the kraken is an animal with many heads and many claws. In addition, this animal had been depicted as having horns.
A writer named Olaus Magnus had given a very different description about the Kraken. He mentioned that the Kraken is a very large animal with two big teeth on both sides of the mouth (like seals and pigs) and a small beard like that of a seal. Different explorers and writers had different opinions about the Kraken.
So, anyway, you are still talking about this mysterious creature called Kraken.
An animal that has been talked about a lot in movies, literature, television and other popular culture topics.. For these reasons, the legend of the Kraken continues to this day. For example, John Wyndham's The Kraken Wakes (1953), The Kraken of Marvel Comics, Clash of the Titans You can also get the 1981 film and its 2010 remake COT and the professional ice hockey team Seattle Kraken.
The Kraken can also be seen in video games like Sea of Thieves, God of War II and Return of the Obra Dinn. The best and favorite thing is to have the Kraken in one of my favorite movie franchises..
